(Executive Producer of THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN and THE GRAMMYs)

Ben Winston has served as executive producer of the Emmy Award-winning THE LATE LATE SHOW since James Corden took over as host in 2015. In addition, Winston is co-creator and executive producer of the “Carpool Karaoke” series for Apple Music, and “Drop the Mic,” for TBS, both inspired by popular sketches on THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN. He was recently announced as the new Executive Producer of the Grammys for 2021.

Winston is a six-time Emmy Award winner, and a 22-time nominee. In 2019 he had more Emmy nominations than any other individual. In 2018, six shows that Winston executive produced earned a total of 15 Emmy nominations, whilst his shows won the first ever Emmys for Apple, and Snapchat.

Winston is a multi-faceted producer, director and writer with award-winning credits that span television, movies, music videos and commercials. His executive producing credits include “The Tony Awards,” the hit U.K. version of “The X Factor”; the CBS sitcom “Happy Together,” the acclaimed documentary feature “In The Hands of the Gods”; the new CBS All Access series “Seatbelt Psychic”; and several music specials for artists such as Bruno Mars, Harry Styles, Shawn Mendes, Kacey Musgraves, Sam Smith and Justin Bieber, amongst others. In addition, he produced and directed record-breaking documentaries and movies for the mega-popular musical act One Direction, including “This Is Us” and “1D Day,” and he won an MTV Video Music Award and three Brit Awards for directing their music videos.

Much of Winston’s work has been with his closest friend, James Corden. They met on set when they were 18 and have collaborated on many notable projects since. Winston produced Corden when he hosted the prestigious Brit Awards for four years, the biggest event in the British music industry, and directing and co-writing several memorable “Smithy” sketches with Corden for BBC1’s Red Nose Day charity telethon. They are both partners at the production company Fulwell 73.

Winston is from London and currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter. Follow him on Twitter @benwinston and Instagram @mrbenwinston.
